What is house hacking?
With rising interest rates and high prices, buying is unaffordable for many would-be home buyers. “House-hacking” is when a buyer finds a way to create rental income from an owner-occupied home. When I bought my first home right after college graduation, I took my roommates from the Provo apartment we shared and they began paying me rent.
